사단법인 세계스포츠위원회(WorldSC 위원장 서현석, 이하 ‘위원회’)와 주식회사 미디어그룹사람과숲(대표 한윤기, 이하 ‘사람과숲’)은 상호 미래 스포츠산업 발전을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
체결식은 지난 20일(월) 오후 3시에 사람과숲 회의실에서 서현석 위원장과 한윤기 대표 및 임원들이 참석하였다.
위원회 서현석 위원장은 “요즘 AI 및 e스포츠가 대세인 지금 사람과숲과 상호간 협력을 통해 스포츠 메타버스 플랫폼과 메타포츠 트레이너 및 관련 솔루션을 활용하여 전 세계 태권도 교육과 스포츠 콘텐츠 확산을 도모할 것이며, 함께 더 큰 미래를 향하여 태권도 변화와 발전될 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
사람과숲 한윤기 대표는 “오늘 위원회와 업무협약이 무척 뜻깊다고 생각한다. 이번 디지털 플랫폼 정부 박람회에서 본 사업을 홍보하고, 카자흐스탄의 기업들과 함께 스포츠 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 교육사업과 국제개발협력사업을 추진하고 있고, 스포츠 메타버스 플랫폼은 기존 메타버스들과 다르게 어린이 및 청소년과 이용자의 눈건강을 지키고, 시지각 능력을 강화할 수 있는 게임요소를 포함하고 있다.”고 전했다.
한편, 사람과숲은 (주)유티플러스 유태연 대표와 스포츠 아카이빙 콘텐츠 활성화를 위한 스포츠 메타버스 플랫폼을 개발하고 고도화 사업을 수행하고 있다. 기존 게임산업 뿐만 아니라, 지방 정부와 함께 스포츠 메타버스 플랫폼 및 해당 플랫폼을 활용한 다양한 교육사업과 협력사업을 추진 운영하고 있다.

The World Sport Committee (President Hyun-Suk SEO, hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") and the Media Group Human & Forest (CEO Yoon-Ki HAN, hereinafter referred to as "Human and Forest") signed a business agreement for the development of the future sports industry.
President Hyun-Suk SEO, CEO Yoon-Ki HAN, and executives attended the signing ceremony at 3 p.m. on the 20th (Monday) in the Human and Forest Conference Room.
Hyun-Suk SEO, President of the Committee, said, "Now that AI and e-sports are popular these days, we will promote the spread of taekwondo education and sports content around the world by utilizing sports metaverse platforms, meta-sports trainers and related solutions through mutual cooperation with Human & forest, and together we will do our best to change and develop Taekwondo toward a bigger future."
Yoon-Ki HAN, CEO of Human & Forest, said, "I think today's business agreement with the committee is very meaningful. At this digital platform government fair, we are promoting this project and promoting education and international development cooperation projects using sports metaverse platforms with Kazakhstan's companies, and the sports metaverse platform contains game elements that can protect children, teenagers, and users' eye health and strengthen their ability to perceive, unlike the existing metaverse."
Meanwhile, Human & Forest are developing and upgrading a sports metaverse platform to revitalize sports archiving content with UT Plus Tae-Yeon YOO. In addition to the existing game industry, it is promoting and operating sports metaverse platforms and various educational and cooperative projects using them with local governments.
